Spirit of the Marathon

As did probably many others tonight, I saw Spirit of the Marathon down in Burbank. The movie was great, but you know what struck me more was that the theater was full. I had to move seats twice to allow people to fit in. Who would have thought that many people would pay to see a movie about people running. I also fell in love with seeing movies in California. People cheered, clapped, and laughed throughout the movie! Maybe this is not surprising to you, but for a midwesterner it's shocking! People are much more reserved in the midwest. I love it! It made the movie so much better. I was in tears by the end.

I also have a new love, Deena Kastor is wonderful! How amazing is she in this movie? Don't get me wrong, Paula Radcliffe is still my one and only running crush but Deena is right up there too.

I've got ice on my leg now and am hoping tomorrow's run doesn't hurt. I spent the day on my feet so maybe that's why my leg is aching a little. We'll see.

Thanks for listening

Wasn't that the BEST movie? Our theater was sold out as well. Hope you had a good run.
